POM Amsterdam

I want to tell you about a lovely new brand named POM Amsterdam! The founder, Liesbeth Lotgering, is one of my best friends. She loves fabrics and food and decided to do something with these two passions. I am so proud of her! POM stands for Piece Of Mine, beautiful scarfs and feminine with a funny twist... just like her. You can choose great fabrics and colourful pompidoms ( little pompons).

Want to have a POM scarf? Find everything on her blog we love fabrics! Or come to her introduction sale in Amsterdam on the 2th of December! Her site will be online soon!

Autumn leaves

I found this nice app on Bloesem ( my über favourite blog). It's a wallpaper for your Iphone, made by Owen Gildersleeve. The leaves are made of paper. This is a perfect way to celebrate Autumn every day, don't you think? It would even be great on my wall...

Hello Winter!

Somehow I still feel like I just said goodbye to Summer season. But the fact that today my good old friend Sinterklaas arrived in the Netherlands made me realize that the cosy and happy Winter season really started. So today I bought myself very nice christmas cards. Couldn't resist these beautiful illustrations of het Paradijs. And of course some lovely marzipan to put in the shoe of my boyfriend

Book by it's cover

By accident I discovered the great site of Julia Rothman: Book by it's cover. I really like the name of her blog because it really describes how I buy books... mostly I first have to fall in love on it's cover or illustrations... same with wine. A nice wine label makes it so much easier for me to choose. Maybe it is a little bit weird, maybe you will recognize this way of buying things :-) Julia shows the most beautiful books of the world.
